The Ringward and Nivin Habitats

Ring habitats work on the same principle as cylinder habitats by using centrofugal force to simulate gravity, called spin gravity. A ring habitat generally uses a wide, thin ring which requires stronger tinsel strength than a cylinder habitat of the same surface area. Ringwards are normally assumed to be constructible only with nobtanium - in the books case, the virtually indestructible material scrith. See also dicon sphere, ring habitat, rung word rhoda city.
