What's the Biggest Story of the 20th Century?
The family that owned the paper, that still controls it to day. At the time, wer were basically german jews. And they yearned to be a part of this great society that was germany of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. They didn't want to be seen as jews. So for them, they kind of developed this philosophy that sort of dictated that judism was just like a manner of worship. You know, i'm an american with a jewish style of worship,. h in order to place the focus on being american, to being what we call to day, white a and that's the course they took.
