At that time, sexual abuse was not something being engaged in the secular world. So i think at first there was that sense of, oh, my gosh, how much betrayal is here. The hardest to come up with was the issue of arousal, cimplicity and then shame. But as it got talked about, i remember kind of going, hu, this is a lot like faith, hope and love. And i think that was maybe the major change to beginning to go, Oh, clearly, in all forms of that kind of assault, there is evil.
