We don't clearly articulate what the problem is and have a shared understanding of that. We want to pay for some product to magically take our problems away, and that's where we first jump. That's just always a big risk. And then i do think that there's a problem trying to collect all the data.

Applications of data have grown well beyond the venerable business intelligence dashboards that organizations have relied on for decades.
