Mosha dian was defense minister during the Siege of Jerusalem in 19 73. He told prime minister goldemayer that they were heading for a 'catastrophe' Mosha offered his resignation, but Golda refused to give it to him. The two knew their political careers would be over if they didn't come through this crisis. They had to save the third temple or risk being remembered as the jews who lost it all.
