Dostoevsky's Rebellion was my first introduction to the problem of evil. It led off a book by Nelson Pike called God and Evil. And we used it for one week in Philosophy 101. I was certain at the time, shows you how dumb I was, that Dostoevky had made a great argument for atheism.
