Why Western Medicine Doesn't Look at the Science

The first person to describe multiple sclerosis was a French neurologist in the 19th century, who said this was a stress-driven disease. Since then, for all three of these conditions, we've had research showing a relationship between trauma, stress, emotional factors and these three conditions. When you look at both autoimmune diseases, the rate is rising. And so most illnesses in my mind and body are generated by the environment. We can understand those as unexplainable random events. Or we can say there's something going on in this culture that is driving those diseases.
