The Importance of Leaving Home
Lee Taravio grew up in a small town in the northeast of New Brunswick, Canada. His mother put him and his sister on trains to go to university so they could see other cultures. He says he was partly connected to British culture when he first came to Britain as a child. The former BBC correspondent now lives in London with his wife and two children.
