How Did You Become a Fashion Writer?
When you were an intern at Teen Vogue, did you envision that your career would be as a fashion writer or a fashion editor? Is that what you thought? This is what I'm gonna do with my life. My dream was to be an editor in chief. So how did you get the opportunity to write for Vogue and cover self-tanning? It's really funny because all of the ad revenue, or most of it comes from beauty in these magazines. But if you're reading an issue of a fashion magazine 10 years ago, there's such little airtime dedicated to Beauty.
