A collective of 370 contributors to the New York Times have penned an open letter over their concerns about editorial bias in the newspapers reporting on transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people. They collectively wrote that while it's true that there are plenty of New York Times reporters who cover trans issues fairly, there has been an alarming trend in coverage over the last eight months. And they specifically cite that the Times coverage of trans issues has been cited in Republican states by legislators.
