Housing prices in New Zealand are the most expensive in the world relative to incomes and rents. A big drop in structural interest rates through the 2000s has created a lot of wealth for those people who were lucky enough to be in at the start, says Kiwi Bank's Jeremy Kachman. The outlook is fairly good with relaxed migration policy which should help support housing longer term.
