Are These People in a Situation of Being in a Vegetative State?
Most of what i've done so far is in chronic patients, which means patients that have been in a vegetative state for anywhere from a few months to several years. Of course, i want to be able to take a snap shot of somebody the first day after some kind of brain injury and be able to tell what are ther chances ofa recovering. So you can study this at any point in time. I mean, i'm looking years down ward id right? Being able to say they have a higher threshold, perhaps, of neuronal activity than some of these people.
