How to Have a Read-Only Database That Has All the Answers
If there's no way to hash local data on the client in a way to be sufficiently secure from cheating, that would be the easiest way to solve it. If you just have read-only databases distributed, I mean, that is not hard to set up. And so the input is slow, but they don't really notice that. But when you're all computing and all that stuff, it's just working from memory cache objects that's near them.
