With PyTorch 2.0, one of the central things we absolutely want to nail was that it's our problem, how to compile the program. That shouldn't affect how you shouldn't be thinking or caring about it. We basically built 2.0 entirely around partial graphs. This is something that no one in the machine learning frameworks does. It's going to be harder to write the compiler, but we're not optimizing for the compilation people to have an easy life.
