The Problem With Education

I think the problem with education and I've had a problem with it my entire career is the lack of applicability of what they're doing in the real world. The practical aspect, I just don't get it. Academia is too focused on theory. When I was in school, I never really got got anything that was worth very much. You know, entrepreneurship class, small business management was one of the few classes actually worked with a company and I consulted with them. And I just said when I went into teaching, that's what I wanted to do. I wanted to make it as real world as possible for the students so they can learn from their mistakes and successes.
