The Material Theory of Consciousness Is a Very Interesting Hypothesis

Andi: There isn't really a respectable materialist account of consciousness at all. It's in, i think, to lose faith in it in my view. Even when i'm writing about plant intelligence, i'm always hanging out with people going a lot further than i'm willing to go and say plants are conscious. I have some sense that they have a point of view, but i don't think they're conscious the way we are.
