The NFL has 11 different categories of franchise tags. Running back now is 10th out of those 11 categories, and running backs are saying, you know what? That's a little bit odd because we carry the ball more than any other offensive weapon, not named quarterback. A great wide receiver catches the football six or seven times. An average running back is going to touch it at least 12 times a game.
