The Ravenna Council: A Paradox of the Roman High Command
For the next few years there was no major push to defeat Gundaric's Vandals. Ravenna Court appears to have shifted its focus to reorganizing provinces that had been lost, but were now found. The promise of more stability came in 419 when Galla Placidia gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Flavius Placidia's Valentinianus. He would remain as such unless Honorius planned to find himself a wife and make a baby.
