The Third Year of the Reign of Jehoa
Daniel says in the third year of the reign of Jehoa, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. Daniel is using the Babylonian time of reckoning, whereas Jeremiah is using the Jewish time of reckoning. Now you know what to say to your skeptical friends who say, oh why are you studying the book of Daniel? Come on, everybody knows it's a forgery. Only God can do something like that.
