I mean, something similar that you might say to a person who's being nice to you, and you resent that. And so far as it is, one of these devotions that's highly esteemed by the church. So be patient with yourself. Maybe do a little work to unpack the baggage. Like, why is it that maybe there's something there? But if not, just give it time.
