How to Be a Spokesperson for Mathematics Education

There is a bit of pressure on you now to be a spokesman and have opinions. Are you ready for that? I find it a bit of a delicate balance about what things are my really qualified to speak about. Although I very much feel it's important to sort of help mathematics as a field, it's certainly not the most natural thing for me. And although I have an interest in mathematics education and have some opinions, I'm not really qualified to necessarily speak out on these things.
