Generally speaking, 20% of every muscle doesn't necessarily reinsert into the tendon proper. It feeds itself back into that facial network. I took a dissection course from Gil Headlee. And we dissected in layers, not in my parts. But it was a continuous uninterrupted fiber that was confirmed by an atomist to be a continuous unified piece of tissue.
