The Role of Contrarians in the Ecosystem
I grew up in an anti-war household of George McGovern, and somehow managed to escape that. I don't know if it's Stanford, which was incredibly leftist, we're going socialist or communist when I was there. And then went to law school, which is full of like, laughing professors. But you know, what I do for a living, I felt the best place I can be was at the center of the ecosystem of startups and founders. So I felt it would be professionally negligent in me to leave even if I could find the places that would be more comforting.
