I'm From the South, but I Don't Have the Southern Accent

i'm from the south, but i don't have a southern accent. My kids tease me all the time because i love playing with accents and i don't know any accent really well. The california accent is is very, it's kind of standard, right? California, midwest. Atsi. And so ave, i guess the traditional american accent. I don't know what you would even call it.
