The Importance of the Rolling Away Stone

It's not like Jesus needed the stone to be rolled away, but it becomes a very significant image to us when we see that stone. The tomb is empty. Christ is not there. He has risen. For us to have that image in our heads, I think it was very comforting and it's a better story for us that we can look back on in scripture. We've heard it preached on multiple, if not hundreds of times throughout our lives. So it's the challenge for us is to remain in the wow factor.
