If we knock out certain parts of the brain, we can realize well if they've lost a particular type of behavior or changed it, it must have been a response. And we see that often with stroke patients, right? Stroke patients, whether they lose the ability to speak or move certain parts of their body gives us an indication of what lobe is affected.
