How to Pitch Your Book to a Journalist

i would suggest for authors that are first starting to do their own PR a full press release is quiet daunting and quite a big undertaking i would actually start with a pitch. way i would go about it is email for sure and i would find the journalist and this is a little secret i'm going to share so obviously swanky PR agencies of which i was a part of a while ago will subscribe to these super expensive databases which throws up hundreds of journalists names.
