The First Amendment and the Sedition Acts
In 1789, blasphemy was illegal in many states. Under the First Amendment. And there was a lot of sedition acts. So as part of this, I would find people who said seditious things under the 1789, 1790s idea of sedition and tell them to stop it with a sit-in. It made me so much more grateful for freedom of speech we do have.
