Survivor Nondo parado describes the extreme rationing that he had to restrict himself to within the first three days after waking from his coma, surviving on just onecho covered peanut. The survivors decided that their friends would want them to consume whatever protein and fat they could to stay alive. Some take longer to come around to this idea than others, but ultimately the desire to live outweighs the mental and emotional hurdles that they all have about eating an flesh.
