The reason that the victim narrative is so attractive is that it's true. You're going to be judged harshly and put outside the social ideal as a child and as an adult, right? Most kids are bullied when they grow up. I mean, everyone gets sick, everyone dies, everyone loses everything. To think of us as victims is like welt, for sure. And then, of course, it's also the case that at any given time some people seem to be much more victims than others,. It's not that helpful as a characterization, you know. And it's dangerous, etspecially dangerous when you start to play it out at the level of group.
