The Labour Party, Not the Labour Party
I think what he's done, interestingly, is he's got the party. The party is there and wants to win - that sounds a blindingly obvious but actually it's the Labour Party we're talking about here. So I think he's got to not keep his head down. He's got to position himself carefully and calmly as I am a Prime Minister in waiting. I'm a serious leader. I would govern in the interest of the country, not the party. That for me represented the party becoming mature and thinking we'd actually like to win. Now if that happens, that is really, really damaging for our authorities, isn't it?
