The Future of Path Tracing in Unreal Engine
Unreal Engine has become such a one-stop shop for so many things, I wonder about the different layers of precision. Could there be some additional C-bars or something where in the same time, if you're doing like a path tracing pass, you can spend three minutes per frame and get everything exactly right? There is a lot of value in being able to preview something quickly, even if that quality is a little bit lower with the ability to understand what a final image could look like. It's kind of what it seems like things are tending towards.
