Mental health is being really in touch with what your values are. It's not just about feeling good all the time, it's also about having meaning and purpose. And you get that by living in line or taking action in line with them. I think we compare our whole subjective experience to this tiny little snippet of the tip of the iceberg. So it's a totally invalid comparison. Those meanings we draw are about ourselves or about the other person that are totally invalid because it's not a like for like comparison. You can get carried away sometimes with like a shiny opportunity, but I'm really trying to just root myself in.
