How to Predict a Person's Trustworthiness
There's another experiment that i hope, my i think, gets us a bit closer to the mechanism. All these common goods, games, you interret with someone, and you have to learn whether they're trustworthy or not. You can see these predictionaries happening in the brain where the demin is. The interesting thing is, if you tell them, this is a very trustworthy person, both behaviory and in terms of brain function, they stop noticing the prediction errors. I think the prior here is, how much control do i have over my behaviour? So if yoyou now believe i have less, top down control, none or none.
