The Role of Low Peeps in a BIPAP Setting

There is a school of thought that in severe asthma and those children who are innovated is to actually put them on a low peep or no peep. There's a zero peep strategy because these patients have an intrinsic peep that they can generate from their own negative intraturassic pressure. The initial tidal volume we're looking at about anywhere between five to 10 mLs per kilo.
