Is There a Difference Between a Network and Capitalism?

I think it really comes down to what's the structure of the network, you know. Who has access to that? Who has the right to change the protocols? How is that negotiated? These are the issues that I think really determined how not only emergence, but how fair a network is in certain ways. So a network could be emergent. Like capitalism is emergent just in very restricted ways. It's emergent to the production of new products to give rise to more profits. But that doesn't mean it leads to the types of emergencies that could actually serve life beyond those sorts of things.
