The Power of Speaking in the Third Person

In the past, like a doctor might have said, this may hurt before they gave you an injection. So now it would be advised that doctors don't do that if they just try to distract you. Your second choice is why speaking in the third person makes us smarter. We generally only use it slightly cringingly if somebody asks you to write short autobiographical description for a website profile. But there's lots of studies showing that people tend to find greater insights into their problems and see the bigger picture.
