In 1991, that the year that Tazmamurk closed, the Cold War has come to an end. There was also an agreement to hold a referendum on the status of Western Sahara. But we're still waiting for that. The notion of the referendum has changed because the Americans and the UN were very, very active in trying to get this referendum off the ground. It was originally agreed by both parties after the ceasefire that there should be a referendum on independence or integration within Morocco. And it was a really complicated business to discover who was eligible to vote.
