The Dhammapada of the Dalai Lama

Dalai Lama doesn't have the altar like Ram Das but he has the Chinese Communist military installed in a lot of the biggest temples in Tibet. He calls them my friend the enemy sometimes you know so I think that's what he meant. This is a common human predicament that we all have how do we hold the conflicts and how do we even hold that which is causing suffering? "Hate never ends by hatred but by a love alone is healed this is the ancient and eternal law"
