The first strategy is to confirm all the information with the interviewer. Oftentimes a lot of stuff falls through the cracks or gets lost in translation. The second thing, and maybe even more important, is that you're buying yourself some time to start brain storming,. Ok? Have to prioritize these four features? How would i do that? What are some of the options that i can go with? And that's going to lead us into the next strategy, which is to start asking limiting questions.
