The Role of Full Citizens in the Early Days of the Empire
I don't necessarily disagree with having this super-tiered structured society. It's necessary in the true empire that consists of multiple peoples. But in the early days when it's just the bulk of the population is Anglo-Saxon-Anglid, it's a fairly egalitarian society among the land-owning men. Same with the early days of the Roman Republic.
