Is There a Need for Usability?

As a research i was very interested in kind of complex, hard problems. I remember visiting moxey and twitter,. There wasn't too much going on. For me, like an r an d perspective, and all the action was a gogle. And it was clear that action was very asymmetric. In order to get to solve all these horrid problems, you needed big data, and only a few companies had that data. So i felt it was also pointless to do a start up, because your exit wus just to be bought by a sil valley te company. However, as the activi we should pursue a more a non profit route.
