Beethoven - A Slow Movement
The most unusual thing about this symphony is that it really doesn't have a slow movement. Instead, beethoven gives us a rollicking and wholly unconventional scerzo movement. After a short restatement of the a major nastalga, reality once again sets in. And as if the procession slinks off into the distance, the winds trade the main rhythm as the music fades away to its conclusion.
