How to Square the Circle in Your Mind to Predict a Recession
The S&P 500 has been around 4,000 for almost a year. If we're going to have a recession, you would expect the equity market to fall. The 10-year yields are 3.5%, the two-year treasury yields at 4.2%. That's pretty inverted. And historically, when you have that kind of inversion, that would suggest a recession debt ahead.
