Carlton Heard Says, I'll Go to Trial, or I'm Going to Plead Guilty.
Carlton Heard was sentenced to 14 years in prison for the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Judge John Ghul said he would sentence him to multiples of 14 years if convicted at trial. The Court of Appeals vacated the plea and ordered that Carlton's case be reassigned by a different judge.
