Is There a Future for Machine Learning?
There's plenty of people in industry who have been coming up with novel ideas for 20 or 30 years. And so there is definitely something to be said for, like, bringing things in from a different perspective. I'm a very task and learning signal focusd person, i guess i'd say. What we're missing is sort of the tasks that are complex enough to train the kinds of intelligence we want.
