How to Make a Living as a Writer
The New York Times article was partly pointing out how hard it is to make a living as a writer but even if you kind of discount the financial side of that there's also just not that many readers. The most successful people on Wattpad or Substack or wherever are getting massive audiences which even big names on television struggle to get sometimes these days. It's that kind of direct link to the people who are specifically interested in in your particular thing where it may be.
