The Wealth Pump Explains Elite Law Production

The wealth pump is a very useful mechanism that explains both the conditions of elite overproduction and also why they have plentiful supply of food soldiers. Normally, the economy works and it produces its fruits. The big question becomes how these fruits are divided between the elites and workers. But when societies become experienced, long-term conditions of internal peace and order, what often happens is that the elites try to reconfigure the economy in ways that would profit them rather than common people. This is known in sociology as the iron law of oligarchy.
