Is Multiple Realisability Relevant From a Biologist's Perspective?
Poulcher and Shapiro point out that when you actually get into the detail of these things, it's not so clear that they realize the same property. So any questions about reduction and multiple realize ability have to be kind of couched in the vocabulary of the people who are doing the studies. You can't make across the board claims about multiple realizability. You have to make them in terms of the specific aims of specific scientists.
