When the release study was reorganized in 1880, Zina was selected as first counselor by President Eliza Arsenault. Then Zina gets super active in the temperance and women's suffrage movement. When we hear someone like Sister Dalton say in contemporary setting that women know their roles, they will thus see no need to lobby for rights,. It's interesting because our early four mothers were very active in lobbying for rights. They were in fact Utah was critical in getting the vote. These women are women. Super cool.
